Kie Kie: "My Husband And I Started Living Together Before Marriage"

Popular skit maker and actress Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, better known as Kie Kie, has revealed that she was already living with her husband, Tunji Ilori, before they got married.

She said she made the decision because her house rent expired months before their wedding.

The mother of one disclosed this while featuring as a guest in the latest episode of the TokeMoments podcast hosted by Toke Makinwa.

She said: “My husband and I started living together before we got married because my [house] rent was already due. My rent was due in September, and we were going to get married in January. So, I can’t renew my rent. And we had done our introduction by then. The church wasn’t aware that we were already living together. I was even singing in the church choir then.”

She said she was initially scared of getting married but eventually did after a series of prayers.

DAILY POST recalls that Kie Kie and her husband got married in February 2020 and welcomed their first child, a girl named Oluwashonaolami Olori, in November 2022.

Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Mercy Eke is confident she can win the N120 million grand prize of the reality show.

Mercy, who won the ‘Pepper Dem’ season in 2019, in a chat with Ilebaye on Thursday night, believed she would be a second-time winner.

Ilebaye had queried her whether she was expecting to win the show again and Mercy replied that she was in the House to win.

Mercy said: “I’m going to win this show. I’m going to be a second-time winner. I’m here to win and I’m winning the N120m. I’m not joking about it. I’m here to win for the second time.”

DAILY POST recalls that some of the housemates, including Cross and Mercy’s evicted ex-boyfriend, Ike had stated that they are against her winning the All Stars season.

They vowed to truncate her chances of winning the N120 million, stressing that she already won the reality show before.

Mercy and Whitemoney are the only past winners battling the N120 million grand prize.

Portable Loses Instagram Account

Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, aka Portable, has lost his official Instagram account to hackers.

Portable’s management confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday.

It assured that it was working actively to resolve the issue.

It said the hackers are impersonating Portable and are likely to be using the account to spread false information, scams, and potentially harmful content.

“We regret to inform you that Portable’s official Instagram account has been hacked and taken over by unknown fraudsters. We understand that this incident may cause concern and confusion among our loyal fans, and we want to assure you that we are actively working to resolve this issue,” it said.

It, therefore, urged fans of the singer to disregard any messages, posts, or requests coming from the compromised account.

Nollywood actor Abdulateef Adedimeji and his wife Adebimpe have shared their go-to tip for conflict resolution in their marriage

They recently guest starred in an interview with The Nze's, where they narrated how they met, the origin of their love story as well as how they navigate their new marriage.

The hosts asked them how they resolve their marital issues and arguments to avoid a blowout. The actor noted that all relationships come with moments of disagreement, and the methods of resolution are extremely important. He then shared their resolution method which involves a pen and a paper, as directed by their marriage councellor.

He believes that arguments are normal in relationships and the absence of any indicates secrecy.

He said, "You have to fight, if it is smooth all the way down then something is wrong. What I know is that we did, on the morning of our wedding during our counseling we were told to get a white paper and write all that we wanted from each other, then we gave ours to each other. We were told 'That is your contract, go through it from time to time. And when you see that he is not living up to it, call his attention to it'".

Abdulateef noted that they make use of their list often, pointing it out to one another when their significant other offends the other. He also emphasised that their method has been incredibly helpful to them since they got married.

Kiddwaya Reacts After Girlfriend Unfollowed Him On Instagram Says She Will Be Back.

Newly-evicted Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Kiddwaya, has said his girlfriend, Laura, whom he said unfollowed him on Instagram after he admitted to kissing Mercy Eke, will 'come around.'

In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM on Tuesday, Kidd explained that Laura unfollowed him because she didn’t understand that the kiss was just "a game."

“My relationship is going well. We are solid, man. In any normal relationship, there are issues here and there but I’m Kiddwaya, man, what can go wrong?

“Don’t worry [about her unfollowing me on Instagram], she’s going to follow me back. I think it’s because she is not used to the game. Big Brother is crazy.
